Background

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) are opening the provincial gaming industry to private sector operators this fall. The OLG announced their intention to undertake this initiative by issuing a Request for Information (RFI) seeking input from potential providers as it expands regulated private-sector gaming in Ontario.

In preparation, the OLG wants to pre-determine the interest for possibly establishing a gaming facility within the Towns of Collingwood and Wasaga Beach and the Townships of Clearview and Springwater, an area known as Zone C7. The OLG has indicated that only one gaming facility would be permitted in the zone.

This site has been developed to provide information, as well as gather input, from the public on this topic.
